Rimini’s golden beach – is a great place to chill out with a book , listen to some music, enjoy a game of bowls, take a stroll or just relax and take in the beautiful scenery of the coast. If you like water sports there are a wide range of them – swimming, canoeing, wind surfing and kite surfing which Rimini is famous for. Rimini is not only for beach lovers – The historic centre is steeped in history and has many monuments from Roman times.

Marina Centro – a shoppers paradise is to be found close by the historic centre. There’s a wide range of shops which offer everything from up to the minute Italian fashion, delicious food to bargain hunting in local markets. There is also a recreational park nearby which is great for long walks or just relaxing in the green areas and watch the sunset.

The countryside and surrounding areas have plenty to offer, medieval castles and fortresses, old roman towns, monuments and war cemeteries. You might enjoy the fascinating views of the vineyards and olive trees. If this is not enough what about theme parks – Aquafan – waterpark, Italia in Miniatura – Little Italy, Oltre Mare – earth and ocean , Le Navi – aquarium, Delfinario – dolphin shows, and Mirabilandia – fantasy park are the best loved ones.

RIMINI was the Home Town of Federico Fellini, who was the top Italian movie director. He is still said to be one of the most influential film makers of the 20th century. Fellini’s museum is well worth a visit.
